“This life is what you make it. No matter what, you’re going to mess up sometimes, it’s a universal truth. But the good part is you get to decide how you’re going to mess it up. Girls will be your friends – they’ll act like it anyway. But just remember, some come, some go. The ones that stay with you through everything – they’re your true best friends. Don’t let go of them. Also remember, sisters make the best friends in the world. As for lovers, well, they’ll come and go too. And baby, I hate to say it, most of them – actually pretty much all of them are going to break your heart, but you can’t give up because if you give up, you’ll never find your soulmate. You’ll never find that half who makes you whole and that goes for everything. Just because you fail once, doesn’t mean you’re gonna fail at everything. Keep trying, hold on, and always, always, always believe in yourself, because if you don’t, then who will, sweetie? So keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because life’s a beautiful thing and there’s so much to smile about.”
― Marilyn Monroe
Marilyn, you are one of my idols for a reason. People viewed her as a pretty dumb blonde, with a killer figure and beauty we all loved. In recent years we have discovered she was so much more. Gorgeous, yes, wise….I would say so. She was a deep complex person. Why am I talking about Marilyn Monroe? Because she showed me that people will judge you, break your heart, lie, cheat, steal and hate; and you can still come out on top. Her life came to a tragic end, the truth is still a mystery. Suicide or murder? Either or is possible, but let’s continue on the opportunity’s.
In the past few months, opportunity’s have been knocking on my door. After you think about them, than make a decision. Marilyn took those opportunity’s to the max. She wanted to be an actress and she rose to the top. She had a hell of a life growing up and she wanted the success she dreamed of. I have my own dreams. It may take many years to get to the feel where I want to be, but I can get there. I will get there.
I don’t want to say what these opportunity’s are, I’m still working out the kinks to them. But, once the results are final I’ll let you know 🙂 The point I am trying to make is this, don’t wait for things to fall into your lap. If you love something, do it. If you want that something to be your career, do it. Maybe you are older and still have a dream of being a marine biologist (that was my dream when I was little), you can still do it. No one said you can’t.
You will never know what could have happened if you don’t try it out. Also, share your dreams! You may inspire someone else to go for their dreams as well! Encouragement goes a long way. Start on your own journey and have others follow suit. You never know what could happen……
Now, it’s off to the studio of some artistic fun 🙂
